IHRC Graduate Student Work-in-Progress Workshops provide an opportunity for graduate students researching migration-related topics to present their research and receive feedback from IHRC grad students and invited audience members.

Our March 24 Presenters:

  • Isabel Bethke (PhD/JD Candidate, English Literature/Law), Working Title: Narrative Adherence in Asylum Law

  • Pratiti Ketoki (PhD Student, Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature), Working Title: Encountering the Other Bengalis: Destabilizing Elite Identity and Rethinking the Ethnicity in the America

Isabel and Pratiti will share their drafts one week before the workshop. We kindly ask that you read the drafts in advance and come prepared to discuss them with the authors. Your feedback is vital to the development of these projects!

Snacks and soft drinks will be provided!
