Essential Instructions
Format a Card
- From Stop, press and hold the DISPLAY button for 3 seconds.
- Press the VOL+ or VOL- button to select Utility Menu. Then press the ENTER button.
- Press the VOL+ or VOL- button to select Card Format. Then press the ENTER button.
- Card Format? message is displayed.
- While Card Format? message is displayed, select Yes and press the ENTER button to format the SD card.
Change Record Settings
- From Stop, press and hold the DISPLAY button for 3 seconds.
- Press the VOL+ or VOL- button to select Preset Menu. Then press the ENTER button.
- Press the VOL+ or VOL- button to select Preset MP3 Mono, MP3 Stereo or Wave Man.
- Select Preset - MP3 Mono - for Mono MP3 files
- Select Preset - MP3 Stereo - for Stereo MP3 files
- Select Preset - Wave Man - for CD quality Wav files
- Press the ENTER button to accept the selected Preset.
- Press the DISPLAY button to store the changes.
Start Recording
- From Stop, press and hold the DISPLAY button for 3 seconds.
- Press the VOL+ or VOL- button to select Preset Menu. Then press the ENTER button.
- Press the VOL+ or VOL- button to select Preset MP3 Mono, MP3 Stereo or Wave Man.
- Select Preset - MP3 Mono - for Mono MP3 files
- Select Preset - MP3 Stereo - for Stereo MP3 files
- Select Preset - Wave Man - for CD quality Wav files
- Press the ENTER button to accept the selected Preset.
- Press the DISPLAY button to store the changes.
Playback
- Slide and hold the POWER switch to turn on.
- Press the << or >> button to choose the file.
- Press the ENTER button to begin playback.
- Press the STOP/CANCEL button to stop playback.

Essential Instructions

Format a card

From Stop, press and hold the SHIFT button then push the MENU/STORE EDIT button.

Trk Erase will appear in the display.

Press the << or >> button until Format is displayed.

Press the ENTER button.

The Display switches to OK? Flashing.
-

Press the ENTER button.
-
Executing will be displayed until Format is finished.

Then Completed will be displayed and the recorder will return to stop mode.

Change record settings

From Stop, push the MENU/STORE EDIT button.

Press the << or >> button to choose the Preset number.

Select Preset 1 for Mono MP3 files using internal mike and ALC

Select Preset 2 for uncompressed stereo WAV files using internal mike and ALC

Select Preset 3 for uncompressed stereo WAV files using external mike and manual record level

Press the MENU/STORE EDIT button to store your selection.

Start recording

Slide the POWER switch to ON.

Press the REC button to begin recording.
-
The Rec indicator will be steadily lit while recording.

Press the REC PAUSE button to pause recording.
-
Press the STOP/CANCEL button to stop recording and end the track (close the audio file).

Playback
-
Slide the POWER switch to ON.
-
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to begin playback.
-
The PLAY indicator will be steadily lit while in playback mode.

Press the PLAY/PAUSE button again to pause playback.
-
Press the STOP/CANCEL button to stop playback.
