UMN Languages Nexus Social Media Account
UMN Languages (@umn_languages) is a nexus social media account available on Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
The purpose is to increase the digital presence of language-related events at the university and amplify the goings-on of the Language Center and all the university’s language programs.
Departments can use these accounts to share news, events, celebrations, awards, new courses, or even just fun facts about their language or discipline. Please submit the submission form to begin the process. Submissions are welcome from all staff, faculty, and students.
The social media team will receive this information and help compose your post or will compose the post for you (your choice), for dissemination on each of the social media platforms. They can also repost any relevant messages from your existing channels to help maximize your audience.
