Get ready to take action and enhance your teaching materials with this three-session sprint series designed for language and linguistic programs. In this series, you'll learn how to implement new digital accessibility standards to improve the digital inclusivity of your course materials. Each session features practical demonstrations, hands-on exercises, and actionable strategies to make your text, content, and media fully accessible for all learners. All sessions are virtual, offered via Zoom.

As part of the sprints, participants are invited to submit sample materials to be used during demonstrations. While not all submissions will be used, a number of materials will be selected to showcase accessibility techniques for various languages. Demonstrations will take place during the first hour of the session, followed by guided hands-on exercises.

Sprint Series Objectives

  • Identify and apply new digital accessibility standards to teaching and learning
  • Gain practical experience using accessibility tools for text, content, and media
