Language Center Closing on Tuesday Afternoon
Due to extreme temperatures and canceled classes the Language Center offices, classrooms and lab will close.
The University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus has canceled all classes beginning Tuesday, January 29 at noon through Wednesday, January 30, 2019 because of extremely cold temperatures. Wind chill warnings have been issued and temperatures are expected to be well below zero. Unnecessary travel is not advised.
Please note the following special arrangements for the Language Center in Jones Hall beginning Tuesday afternoon:
- All computer classroom sessions have been canceled or rescheduled
- The Multimedia Lab is closed
- CourseShare courses sent and received are canceled unless the instructor makes a different arrangement with students that will allow them to attend from home
- The Increasing Student Success and Engagement in Chinese Language Flipped Classrooms presentation has been rescheduled for Wednesday, February 13, 2019, 12:20 – 1:10 pm
- The Language Center main office and Testing office are closed to visitors
