Language Courses for Graduate Students
Just Added: LANG 5221: Introduction to Middle Egyptian & Hieroglyphics I
Graduate students have a wealth of second language course options available through local language programs and CourseShare. They can register for all local languages, and many programs offer a limited number of class seats at the 4xxx level especially for them. This enrollment option allows students to register for some first and second year language courses for graduate credit. For example, a graduate student interested in starting Arabic language could register for ARAB 4101: Beginning Arabic I for Graduate Student Research.
In addition, the CourseShare program is offering special language courses of potential interest to graduate students Fall 2025, including:
- LANG 1201: Beginning Basque I
- LANG 2011: Accelerated Catalan I
- LANG 5221: Introduction to Middle Egyptian & Hieroglyphics I
- LANG 1311: Italian for Reading Knowledge
- LANG 1301: Beginning Quechua I
- LANG 1081: Beginning Sanskrit I
- LANG 5331: Syriac I
- LANG 5502: Ugaritic
Many CourseShare language courses can be offered at the 4xxx level by request. Please submit a course request form or email [email protected] to initiate a discussion.
