Online Summer Language Classes at the University

University of Minnesota courses will be fully online this summer, including a variety language classes. Opportunities for local and remote students include:

  • Arabic (ARAB): Beginning through Intermediate, including graduate student enrollment options
  • Chinese (CHN): Intermediate through Advanced, as well as Content-Based Instruction, Advanced Readings, including graduate student enrollment options
  • English as a Second Language (ESL): Beginning through High-Advanced, with many different focuses and topics
  • French (FREN): Intermediate and graduate courses
  • German (GER): Intermediate
  • Hmong (HMNG): Medical Hmong, Accelerated Beginning, including graduate student enrollment options
  • Japanese (JPN): Beginning through Intermediate, including graduate student enrollment options
  • Korean (KOR): Beginning through Intermediate, including graduate student enrollment options
  • CourseShare (LANG): Italian for Reading Knowledge
  • Spanish (SPAN): Alternate Second Semester through Intermediate, three Advanced-Level courses, and a graduate student enrollment option
  • Translation and Interpreting (TRIN): Interpreting in Special Ed
