Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Quoc Dung Visits the University of Minnesota

Between June 28 and 30, 2026 the Vietnamese Ambassador to the United States Nguyen Quoc Dung paid a working visit to the state of Minnesota, including a trip to the University of Minnesota. During the University visit, the ambassador met with members of the Language Center Vietnamese for Heritage Learners development team: Ky Nguyen (teaching faculty and developer) and Amanda Dalola (director and developer), Saena Dozier (engagement coordinator), and Stephanie Treat (CourseShare coordinator), as well as Travis Workman, chair of the Asian and Middle Eastern Studies department. 

At this event, the Ambassador presented the Language Center with Vietnamese language books and publications on Vietnam's history and culture.
