Election Defense Equitable Dinner

Equitable Dinners are a social justice initiative by Mixed Blood Theatre designed to bring strangers and friends from diverse backgrounds to experience theatre, share a meal, and talk about complex issues.

This play (Let’s Save Democracy!) and the conversations surrounding it will take a hard look at voting rights, what democracy asks of us, and how we can prepare to ensure our votes, and those of our friends and neighbors, are counted. 

As a part of and in conclusion to the evening, you will be invited to organize your own voting rights direct action, which may include hosting a mail in ballot party, poll walks, organizing a carpool to the polls for your neighbors, etc.

Registration on Mixed Blood's website is strongly encouraged, but walk-ins will be accepted as space allows. Please note that this Equitable Dinner is at no cost to you. Upon selecting your registration date (September 29th), you will see the following language: Suggested donation amounts: $50, $40, $25, $0. Please put a 0 (zero) in the blank donation box to proceed to registration. Due to the generous support of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the organizing committee, Exploring Alternatives to Division (EA2D), you do not need to place an additional donation.
