2019 Call for Applications: Union Pacific Dissertation Research and Research Services Grant

The Center for Early Modern History has funds to be allocated to graduate students for dissertation research. Applicants must travel to archives between May 15, 2019 to May 15, 2020 for examination of materials that allow them to frame a dissertation topic or continue work on a dissertation-in-progress that emphasizes premodern studies. Average awards amount to between $500 and $1000, but proposed budgets will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Interested students are asked to submit their applications via email to premod@umn.edu by March 15, 2019. More information can be found here.
