Now Accepting Summer Dissertation Fellowships
Attention recent or soon to be ABD Graduate Students!
The popular Premodern Studies Dissertation Fellows Workshop is now being held in the Summer!
This year's faculty mentor will be Michael Gaudio (Art History).
Professor Gaudio is planning a summer workshop model bookended by intensive 3-day workshops one in mid to late May and one in late August. These would be the main synchronous commitments for the group. Most other work would be asynchronous allowing students to travel for their research.
In partnership with departments, we are looking to provide 5-6 fellows with $5,000 to $6,000 in summer funding to focus on their dissertation projects and creating a collaborative, multidisciplinary cohort of premodern scholars. Priority will be given to students who have completed/will complete their exams between January 2021 and April 2022.
Full details of the workshop are available here: Link to Fellowship Details. Applications are due February 4.
