University Wind Ensemble
For their first concert of the academic year, University Wind Ensemble presents a performance with reflection and gratitude. Repertoire includes: *Here We Rest by Anthony Barfield, Fantasia in G Major, BWV572 by J. S. Bach/arr. R. F. Goldman & R. L. Leist, *First Suite in Eb, Op. 28, No. 1 by Gustav Holst, Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman No. I by Joan Tower, and Concertino for Four Percussion and Wind Ensemble by David Gillingham, featuring the percussion studio. The evening concludes with music by Percy Grainger, including Molly on the Shore. Emily Threinen, conductor; Shaun Evans, graduate conductor.
