2018 Music For All Music Education Event a Great Success

Music For All 2018

More than 30 music education students and faculty attended the second Music for All workshop, hosted by the University of Minnesota CNAfME (Collegiate National Association for Music Education) Chapter on Saturday, September 29, 2018. This day of learning-in-community included a variety of sessions ranging from administration to inclusion and other brain-stretching. Congratulations to student organizers Lauren Bird, Teighan Brummel, Kaylee Mina, and Jack Russell and heartfelt thanks to all who helped support this event. Speakers included music education graduate student Tim Buzza, alumni Noah Keesecker, and Sue Zemlin, as well as alumnus and current music education graduate student Adrian Davis (director of the U of M Gospel Choir), Associate Professor Keitha Hamann, Associate Professor Laura Sindberg, and Assistant Professor Daniel Albert (Augsburg University).
