Alumna Anna DeGraff Premieres New Works with Southwest Minnesota Orchestra

Anna DeGraff (MM/DMA, 2012, voice, student of John De Haan and David Walsh), mezzo-soprano, will premiere four new orchestral songs with the Southwest Minnesota Orchestra in Marshall, MN on May 1, 2018. The songs were commissioned by DeGraff through her grant project, Sounds of Southwest Minnesota. Texts feature poets from southwest Minnesota and composers include Jocelyn Hagen, Peter Lothringer, Jesse Lee, and Daniel Rieppel.
