Alumna Maria Mannone Participates in New Interfaces for Musical Expression Conference
Maria Mannone (PhD, 2017, composition, student of Alex Lubet) participated in the New Interfaces for Musical Expression (NIME) Conference, held in June 2018 at Virginia Tech. In collaboration with researchers from the Tohoku University in Japan, she gave a poster presentation about the magnetic and electronic prototype of a new musical instrument, the CubeHarmonic, a musical version of the Rubik's cube.
