PSEO Students Henry and Charles Menken Win St. Paul Chamber Orchestra Youth Chamber Music Competition

Charles Menken (PSEO, saxophone, student of Preston Duncan) and Henry Menken's (PSEO, double bass, student of Dave Williamson) jazz quintet, the Tamberwood Jazz Quintet, is the inaugural first place winner in the Creative Category. The quintet wins $500 and will perform with other winning classical ensembles at Hamline University on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Learn more. 

Charles is lead tenor sax in the University of Minnesota's Jazz Band II. Henry is a member of the University Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Band II.
