Student Jiyeon Hwang Wins Kenwood Symphony Orchestra's 21st Annual Masters Concerto and Aria Competition

Jiyeon Hwang (DMA, voice, student of Jean del Santo) won the Kenwood Symphony Orchestra's 21st Annual Masters Concerto and Aria Competition in the Emerging Artist category. She will perform “Quel guardo Il Cavaliere” from Gaetano Donizetti's opera Don Pasquale on March 23, 2019 at the Church of St. Albert the Great in Minneapolis. She also won second prize in the Minnesota NATS competition in the Advanced College Division.
