Student Momcilo Aleksandric Wins First Prize at Altamira Hong Kong International Guitar Competition

Momcilo Aleksandric (DMA, guitar, student of Maja Radovanlija) won first prize at the Altamira Hong Kong International Guitar Competition in China (July 10-14, 2018). Aleksandric won a cash prize, a Hanson concert guitar, concerts in China, and concerts in Europe as part of Euro Strings network of guitar festivals. He competed in three rounds and played major guitar works by Alberto Ginastera, Francesco Canova da Milano, Fernando Sor, Leo Brouwer, and Nuccio D'Angelo.
