The University Wind Ensemble presents a concert of the music of Michael Daugherty on Wednesday, May 2 at 7:30 pm at Ted Mann Concert Hall. Program featuring the work of guest composer-in-residence and Grammy Award winner Michael Daugherty, including Labyrinth of Love for soprano (Hila Plitmann, Grammy Award winner), chamber winds, bass, piano, and percussion; Niagara Falls for Wind Ensemble; and Reflections on the Mississippi for tuba (Steven Campbell, Minnesota Orchestra) and wind ensemble. Emily Threinen, conductor; Craig Kirchhoff, guest conductor. This is Professor Kirchhoff's final semester before retirement. Free and open to the public.
