Visiting Scholar to Octavio Alberto Agustín-Aquino to Come to U of M School of Music
Octavio Alberto Agustín-Aquino, professor at Universidad Tecnológica de la Mixteca, Mexico will be in residence at the University of Minnesota School of Music during Fall 2018. He will work with Professor Guerino Mazzola (creative studies and media) on new developments in counterpoint theory. Agustín-Aquino was selected for a research travel grant from the Abel Visting Scholar Program of the International Mathematical Union.
