Professor Timothy Kehoe, Department of Economics

Professor Timothy J. Kehoe of the Department of Economics has been awarded a 2015-16 Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship. He will use his grant to study the impact of NAFTA and trade liberalization. He is planning a book, tentatively titled The Impact of Trade Liberalization: Lessons from NAFTA, in which he will tie together an analysis of financial crises, the development of better models of the effects of trade liberalization on the allocation of resources across sectors of the economics, and a theory of how it affects economic growth and development.
