Dr. Patience E. Reich
An innovative medical practitioner, administrator, and decorated leader, Dr. Patience Reich has spearheaded innovations in clinical settings and committed herself to humanitarian service across the world. She has served as associate professor of internal medicine and medical director of the hospital medicine division at Wake Forest University and is now a hospital medicine physician for Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, North Carolina. She is also a jazz singer and storyteller; in 2013, she won first place in the American Protégé’s international vocal competition and performed at Carnegie Hall. She is now in the process of making her first record.
