Dr. Shelley B. Brundage

Dr. Brundage is a pioneering researcher with a focus on improving the lives of people with communication disorders through the development of innovative treatment procedures and clinical training methods. After ascending quickly in the speech-language-hearing sciences community and taking on various leadership roles at St. Cloud State University and with the Minnesota Speech and Hearing Association, she moved to George Washington University in Washington, DC. There she has earned national and international accolades for her groundbreaking use of virtual reality in the treatment of stuttering, and for her mentorship of both students and faculty. She has taken on significant volunteer roles with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a prolific author and lecturer.
