Political Science Senior Celebration Spring 2025

The Department of Political Science invites our graduating political science undergraduate students to a celebration commemorating students' achievements and time as a political science student at the University of Minnesota. This event will include light breakfast refreshments and an opportunity to talk with department faculty and staff. Graduating seniors will also receive political science graduation cords.

Please note this event is the morning of CLA Commencements, Sunday, May 18. It is open to students who graduated fall 2024, as well as those graduating spring and summer 2025. Graduates are invited to bring guests.

• UMN Parking and Transportation Services has information on parking and ways to get to campus. The closest parking ramps to the Recreation and Wellness Center are the University Avenue and Washington Avenue ramps.

• CLA Commencement; while the Political Science Senior Celebration is separate from the CLA Undergraduate Commencement, this page has helpful information about the Ceremonies.
• If you are unable to attend or would like your political science cords earlier than May 18, you can pick up your cords in our main office (1414 Social Sciences Building). The front office is open Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Fridays 8:00am - 12:00pm. The office is closed daily for lunch from 12:00-1:00pm.
