Registration for Summer 2025 is still open! Some courses might be subject to change, we recommend checking Schedule Builder for Summer term PSY courses. All psychology courses in the summer will be offered online. Any updates on course availability will be communicated through future Psych Scoop postings. Available courses are as follows:

By attending this event, students will learn about psychology research opportunities in the department and discover how research can fit into a Psychology Major! PSY 3960 - Undergraduate Seminar in Psychology: Psychology Research Preparation Course - Spots still open for Spring 2025!

Joining a research lab can be a fun way to enhance undergraduate education in psychology. However, getting involved is not always straightforward. This course is designed to help first- through third-year students with all levels of experience learn more about research and develop skills that will support success in future research placements, such as a PSY 5993 course. A permission number is required to enroll; please contact [email protected] for information.

*Credit or Volunteer* Counseling Psychology Undergraduate Research Opportunity

The Black Womanhood and Wellbeing study run by Vanessa Anyanso, a graduate student in the Familee Lab, is currently seeking undergraduate research assistants for Summer 2025. We are starting a research project examining cultural factors that affect the mental health of Black women. Responsibilities will include regular Zoom meetings, qualitative data coding and analysis, data collection, and assisting with data cleaning. An ideal candidate can work independently, is engaged, curious, and detail-oriented, and is willing to develop new skills. Candidates who have previous experience with qualitative coding are encouraged to apply. If interested, please complete this application. Summer & Fall 2025 UROP Deadline 

The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) provides University of Minnesota undergraduates from every college, major, and discipline the opportunity to partner with a faculty member on research or creative projects. The next deadline to apply for an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) award is March 17, 2025, for Summer & Fall 2025 projects. Research experience is important no matter what your discipline! The OUR staff is happy to help you get started. Not sure where to start? Go to peer drop-in hours to demystify the research process. Stanford IRiSS Predoctoral Researchers Program

The Stanford Institute for Research in the Social Sciences (IRiSS) is seeking Predoctoral Researchers to participate in our 2025-2026 cohort.
