*Credit or Volunteer* Counseling Psychology Undergraduate Research Opportunity
The Black Womanhood and Wellbeing study run by Vanessa Anyanso, a graduate student in the Familee Lab, is currently seeking undergraduate research assistants for Summer 2025. We are starting a research project examining cultural factors that affect the mental health of Black women. Responsibilities will include regular Zoom meetings, qualitative data coding and analysis, data collection, and assisting with data cleaning. An ideal candidate can work independently, is engaged, curious, and detail-oriented, and is willing to develop new skills. Candidates who have previous experience with qualitative coding are encouraged to apply. If interested, please complete this application. *Volunteer* Undergraduate Volunteer Research Assistant in Alcohol-Anxiety Laboratory
The laboratory of Dr. Matt Kushner is looking for an undergraduate volunteer to assist in an ongoing NIH-supported study in the Department of Psychiatry. The purpose of the study is to test a computer-delivered therapy for alcohol use disorder and anxiety in patients undergoing addiction care at Fairview-Riverside. Primary responsibilities include data entry, conducting patient-participant appointments, and assisting in other study-related tasks as needed. Training and supervision for these tasks will be provided. The ideal candidate would be a junior or senior in psychology (or related) major, be willing to establish a set 10 hours per week work schedule (preferably in the afternoons), and be able to commit to working in the lab for one year. Immigration Attorney Presentation: Immigrant & Non-Immigrant Visa Options

The presentation will be done by a local, experienced immigration attorney, Jesse Goldfarb at the firm Nilan Johnson Lewis. This event will be held via Zoom and will include a live Question and Answer opportunity with Jesse who will be present to address your questions. All UMN International students of all academic levels interested in longer-term careers in the US are encouraged to attend. CAPE Major Exploration Peer Coach
The Center for Academic Planning and Exploration (CAPE) is hiring a Major Exploration Peer Coach for 2025-2026. Priority Deadline is March 31st. This position is an excellent fit for students with a personal and/or professional interest in counseling, teaching, advising, mentoring, and coaching. Our Peer Coaches staff the CAPE drop-in hours and help students get started on the major exploration process and connect to other resources. Peer Coaches also serve as Teaching Assistants for OUE 2001: Academic Planning & Exploration. This position will begin in late August 2025 and is approximately 8-10 hours a week between 9:30 and 4:00 pm, M-F.
