1. Exam Jam is Here

2. Health Professions Fair

The National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP) is hosting the Health Professions Fair on Saturday, June 18th, 2016 from 1:30-3:30pm at the Hilton Minneapolis – Grand Ballroom. The Health Professions Fair is free for students and provides an excellent opportunity for students to network through valuable one-on-one conversations with over 170 health professional school representatives. You don’t want to miss this opportunity!


3. Summer Internship Scholarship - Due June 1st (For Continuing Students)

Internships are great way to enhance your academic experience, but unpaid internships can be a challenge. The CLA Undergraduate Internship Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to students participating in unpaid internships. Three times per year the College of Liberal Arts offers Internship Scholarships to CLA undergraduate students. Most awards are $1,500. 5. Undergraduate RA Position in Child Psychology Lab (Summer and Fall)

Andrei Semenov, a Ph.D. student in the Zelazo Lab is currently looking for undergraduate students to help with literature reviews, data coding task administration, and participant recruitment. Preferably 2 semester commitment 5-10 hours/week. Commitment may expand if RA shows interest and wants to pursue the project to publication/presentation. Summer 2016 availability desired as well. Qualifications: Being comfortable on the phone with families for recruitment. Willingness to participate in research discussion and administer tasks. 5. Mental Health Resources

This time of year can also be a time of transition, increasing demand, and heightened stress. It can sometimes be difficult to find the right balance. We want to make sure that you know that the University has a number of resources available to help students through tough times. Go to the Student Mental Health website to find information about the various University of Minnesota mental health resources available to students. These resources may be of assistance to you, as well as friends who may be experiencing emotions and/or displaying behavior that concerns you.

8. Summer Statistics Internship

Professional Data Analysts, Inc. (PDA) is an independent evaluation and statistical consulting firm specializing in the fields of public health and the behavioral and medical sciences. In the summer of 2016, we are offering a 10 week paid internship for 20 hours per week in our Statistics Division. As a statistician intern, you will apply your academic knowledge to real-world datasets and contribute to on-going projects while working closely with experienced statisticians and analysts. 9. Georgetown Psychology Lab Seeking Full-Time Research Assistant

The Laboratory for Relational Cognition at Georgetown, directed by Dr. Adam Green, is seeking a full-time research assistant to coordinate and conduct research on reasoning and creativity in high school students and young adults.
