2. Make a Difference by Volunteering Abroad with AIESEC
If you are still looking for something to do this summer, need to complete an internship, or even do your service learning hours, AIESEC is still accepting exchange participants! Go to Peru, China, Morocco, India, Colombia, and volunteer for causes such as women empowerment, education, health, and much more. There are various countries and projects that you could chose. 3. Do Research in Morocco or Russia Through SPAN
In summer 2017 the Student Project for Amity among Nations, SPAN, intends to travel to two countries: Morocco and Russia to enable undergraduate students to pursue independent research. These destinations offer participants an opportunity to immerse themselves in another culture and country, to sightsee, and to explore a self-chosen research topic in which the student is keenly interested. Want to go along? Successful participants receive 8 credits, 4 of which are for the preparation semester (Spring 2017) and 4 for a 50-page research paper based on their findings after 8 weeks in the country. 5. CLAgency is Hiring a Student Account Executive
CLAgency is a student-run, internal agency that is an integral part of the communication team of CLA’s Office of Institutional Advancement. Each Account Executive will be assigned a College of Liberal Arts’ department that they provide communications services for, including creating e-newsletters and working with department social media. We are looking for people who are interested in interviewing students, faculty and alumni and writing great stories that create a sense of pride, affection and responsibility towards the Liberal Arts. As part of CLA's internal agency, students will gain knowledge of how an agency operates as well as meeting professionals in the Twin Cities. 6. Part-Time Position Opening in Humphrey School of Public Affairs
The Humphrey School of Public Affairs Student Services office is pleased to announce a 25 hr/week job opening for a Student Advising Administrative Support position. Job duties include: Work independently under the direction of a Senior Academic Advisor to support functions in the Advising/Retention area of the Humphrey School Student Services office, including but not limited to: customer service/office administration; new student orientation; degree and certificate completion processes; commencement preparation; event support; and primary administrative responsibility for end-of-year student awards. 6. Open Project Manager Position with Office of Measurement Services (OMS)
The University of Minnesota Office of Measurement Services (OMS) has a full-time position for an Administrative Associate 2 (Working Title: Project Manager). The position is responsible for survey research, project management, consulting, survey programming and reporting. Knowledge of Qualtrics online software is preferred.
