Department of Psychology 2025-26 Colloquium Series a Success

The Department of Psychology recently wrapped up another successful colloquium series entitled Critical Collaborations. In this series, we highlighted research collaborations between our own UMN Psychology faculty and external partners who have contributed to critical scholarship in our field. Topics covered included:

• "Time to Change: A Temporal Model of Acculturation and Adaptation" with Drs. Rich Lee and Peter Titzmann
• "Beyond the Badge: The Ripple Effects of Policing and Incarceration on Youth with Drs. Juan Del Toro and Dylan B. Jackson
• "Algorithmic Decision Making for Humans" with Drs. Nathan Kuncel and Marvin Neumann
• “Balancing Cognitive Stability and Flexibility Across Species” with Drs. Nicola Grissom & Becket Ebitz
