NeuroGOAL Lab Shares Research at Brain Day 2025

Headshot of Dr. Nicola Grissom

The NeuroGOAL Lab, under the direction of Nicola Grissom, faculty, presented their research poster entitled “Different brains, different ways: Exploring individual differences in decision making strategies” at the recent Brain Day 2025 outreach event.

Their poster overviews how genetics shape our decisions using a mouse model for neurodivergence. Genes linked to neurodivergent conditions can affect how individuals make decisions, changing how parts of the brain work. The NeuroGOAL Lab aims to understand how genes affect behavior in sex differences, why they look different, and potentially lead to individualized support.
