Presenting the 2025 Psychology Distinguished Alumni Award Recipients
We are pleased to announce Psychology’s Distinguished Alumni Award Winners for 2025!
The 2025 Psychology Graduate Alumni Award recipient is Dr. David Watson, who received his PhD in personality research from the University of Minnesota in 1982. Watson currently is the Andrew J. McKenna Family Professor Emeritus at the University of Notre Dame.
The 2025 Psychology Undergraduate Alumni Award recipient is Dr. Dace S. Svikis (BA '81, psychology; PhD '89, clinical psychology). She is currently a professor in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University. She also serves as the deputy director of the Institute for Women’s Health; director for the Addiction and Women’s Health (AWHARE) Program; and co-director of the International Programme in Addiction Studies (IPAS).
