Tikki Brown Appointed Head of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families
Tikki Brown, alum, was appointed as the head of the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth, and Families, shown in an article by The Imprint. In this recently developed department, she will oversee “the child welfare system, child care, child support, public benefits for low-income families, and services for homeless youth.”
Brown graduated from the U of M in 2001 with a BA in psychology. After graduation, she has spent her years having decades of experience within “state government, providing food, child care, housing, and financial assistance to struggling Minnesota children and families.”
