UMN Psychology Podcast Debuts with See, Hear, MN Mobile Unit
In the first episode of the new UMN Department of Psychology podcast, BrainWave on Air, host Holley Locher spoke with Andrew Oxenham, faculty, and Ben Eisenreich, research staff, from the Center for Applied and Translational Sensory Science (CATSS) about the Center’s new See, Hear, MN mobile unit. Oxenham and Eisenreich discuss the inspiration behind the van, the unique engineering required to make it a reality, and the research questions they are now seeking to answer in a mobile context. Additionally, the team from CATSS has been traveling across the state of Minnesota to provide free clinical hearing and vision screenings to communities with less direct access to such critical services.
