Congratulations to Professor Mater for Two Recent Lectures

Kudos to Professor Nabil Mater for two recent lectures: Professor Matar gave the Josephine Waters Bennett Lecture at the Renaissance Society of American convention on 23 March in New Orleans. The lecture was on "The Protestant Reformation in Arabic Sources, 1517-1798." He also gave the Farhat J. Ziadeh Distinguished Lecture in Arab and Islamic Studies at the University of Washington on 26 April. The Lecture was on the religious and ethnic minorities that the first Arab emigrants met in the United States. The title of the lecture was "The United States through Arab Eyes, 1876-1914.”
