UMN Libraries offer search tools and resources regarding how to search for funding and how to utilize reference databases including Pivot, SPIN and the Foundation Directory Online (FDO).

Community of Science (COS)
Despite its name, COS includes info about sponsors in all disciplines. Includes federal, non-federal, and international sponsors.

Illinois Researcher Information Service (IRIS)
Includes the IRIS database of funding opportunities in all disciplines, the IRIS Alert Service, and the IRIS Expertise Service.

Experts@Minnesota is the research information management tool for the University of Minnesota. It uses University records and publication data harvested from Scopus to create public profiles for University of Minnesota faculty and researchers. Using Experts@Minnesota is a great place to start when looking for an advisor, co-author, and collaborators for a multi-disciplinary grant. 

COVID-19 Related Research or Programming

U of M Foundation Central Corporate & Foundation Relations's Central team tracks funding announcements related to COVID-19 and is adding RFPs aligned with UMN research and programs to this list on a daily basis. 

Grants.gov

Grants.gov is a web-based single submission portal developed by the federal government. It provides a database of most federal grant opportunities. It also provides a mechanism for applying for federal programs. It is, however, a good idea to check an organization's own website as well.
