Population Health Science Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Sarah James will present at the Department of Sociology's Fall 2022 Workshop Series on October 17, 2022. Title TBA.

UMN Sociology's Fall 2022 Workshop Series will be held in 1114 Social Sciences and broadcast via ZOOM on Mondays from 2:30 to 3:30 PM (CDT).

About the Speaker

Dr. James studies racial and socioeconomic disparities in health behaviors in the United States. Using a life course and developmental perspective, she describes how these patterns originate in childhood, consider how acutely stressful experiences contribute to differences, and evaluate the consequences of differences in health behavior for subsequent health and wellbeing.
