31st Annual Sociology Research Institute (SRI)

The 31st Annual Sociology Research Institute (SRI) will be held via ZOOM on Friday, April 23, 2021.

Each year, the Department of Sociology celebrates graduate and undergraduate student research at the Sociology Research Institute (SRI). This academic festival provides an opportunity for our students to present their research in a professional meeting format. Honoring the achievements of our students and faculty, we invite our alumni and friends to reflect on a tremendous group of scholars and their cutting-edge research, teaching, and service.

This year we have the distinct honor of welcoming Ed Walker, Professor & Vice Chair of Sociology at the UCLA College of Letters and Science, as our keynote speaker. Professor Walker will present "Holding Corporations Politically Accountable: A Social Movement Perspective."
