NSF Graduate Research Training Program: Data Science in Multi-Messenger Astrophysics
Program summary
The School of Statistics is participating in the NSF Graduate Research Training program titled Data Science in Multi-Messenger Astrophysics. Students enrolled in this program receive a minor in data science in astrophysics (in addition to their major MS or PhD) and have opportunities to participate in technical and professional training workshops and various outreach activities. One-year $34,000 stipends (plus tuition and fees) and travel support are available. Any student applying for a PhD or MS in statistics is also eligible to apply for the Data Science in Multi-Messenger Astrophysics training program.
