What is a virtual career event? 

This is a great opportunity to meet with companies that specialize in quantitative finance and practice talking with potential employers. Companies in attendance that do not have immediate job vacancies or internships to offer are still interested in meeting you and learning about your talents.

Who is invited to attend?

  • School of Statistics graduate students and recent alumni (MS students and PhD candidates)
  • Undergraduates pursuing a BA or BS in statistics, who have an interest in quantitative finance

How does it work?

This event will be hosted on Slack, where you will have the option to connect live with employers and recruiters through chat and video. Those who register will receive more information on how to prepare and attend. For full details, visit the event website.
