Rich Scamehorn |
Rich Scamehorn is the Chief Data Officer and Co-Founder of InContext Solutions, the world's leading Virtual Research & Software for Retail provider. We build 3D Digital Twins of retail spaces and utilize them visualize and share ideas and test them with consumers for most of the largest Consumer Packaged Goods companies in the world. As the Chief Data Officer I am responsible for overseeing our AI modeling and data product development. In my free time my wife and I enjoy watching sports and getting out in nature. I have two grown children who live in the Twin Cities area. I have a Master in Statistics from the U of MN School of Statistics and have been on the School's advisory board for about 8 years. |

Linda Yang | Linda Yang is a Senior Associate Data Scientist at Travelers, currently a 3rd year Data Science Leadership Development Program (DSLDP) participant working with the Business Insurance Analytics & Research on the workers compensation pricing team. She graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities with a Ph.D. in Statistics in 2022. She has worked on a variety of predictive modeling projects since joining Travelers after graduation. Prior to the DSLDP rotation, she worked in Enterprise Data & Analytics, where she collaborated with data scientists from other business units on artificial intelligence projects, including image classification and text extraction for different business applications. | |
Nathan Hubbell |
Nathan Hubbell, Travelers Insurance Nathan Hubbell is a vice president in the Business Insurance Analytics & Research department at Travelers Insurance. He has been with Travelers Insurance for 22 years in a variety of actuarial and statistical modeling positions. Hubbell is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) and a graduate of St. Olaf College, where he majored in mathematics with statistics and molecular biology concentrations. |

Christina Knudson |
Christina Knudson is a statistician whose career merges rigorous academic research with impactful real-world applications. After earning her PhD in statistics from the University of Minnesota, she excelled in academia by creating educational YouTube content, advancing statistical methodology research, developing R packages, and publishing in journals like Science Advances, all while serving on national committees for the American Statistical Association and earning tenure. In 2022, Dr. Knudson transitioned to data science, where she leverages her expertise to the renewable energy industry. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of statisticians, she continues to bridge the gap between theory and practice through innovative, data-driven solutions. |

Daeyoung Ham | Daeyoung Ham received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Seoul National University in 2020. In August of the same year, I began the Statistics PhD program at the University of Minnesota under the guidance of Professors Adam Rothman and Charles Doss, and I am currently in my final semester. Beginning next semester, I will be joining the Business School at the University of Texas at San Antonio as an incoming assistant professor in their Statistics group. |
