Alumnus Joseph Ibrahim has been elected as an ISBA Fellow

Congratulations to alumnus Joseph Ibrahim, who was recently elected as an ISBA Fellow for “outstanding contributions to Bayesian statistical theory, methods, and applications; for high-impact contributions to incorporation of Bayesian methods in mainstream statistical software; for education and training of students and researchers in Bayesian statistics; and for exceptional service to the profession.” Ibrahim received his PhD from the University of Minnesota School of Statistics in 1988 under his advisor Sanford Weisberg.
