Lan Wang Elected Fellow of the ASA

Lan Wang was elected Fellow of the American Statistical Association “For fundamental contributions to quantile regression; for significant contributions to variable selection and statistical inference for high dimensional data; and for outstanding editorial service to the
profession.” This award, which was presented at the 2018 Joint Statistical Meetings, follows her election as fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics in 2017.
