Are you preparing for the MCAT, or wondering what it covers? Join Kaplan Test Prep for a one-hour MCAT Challenge on March 3. This free event gives students a little of everything: test info, timed practice, and question strategy review! We start with an introduction to the exam, followed by some realistic timed practice, an in-depth discussion of a question or two, strategy and study tips, and a bit of information about our courses. Full answers and explanations to the quiz are provided after the exam for students to use to study.

Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) 
The Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP) is a free summer enrichment program focused on improving access to information and resources for college students interested in the health professions. SHPEP’s goal is to strengthen the academic proficiency and career development of students underrepresented in the health professions and prepare them for a successful application and matriculation to health professions schools.

Multicultural Summer Research Opportunities Program (MSROP) 
MSROP gives undergraduates an opportunity to develop research and inquiry skills with a faculty mentor on an individual basis or as part of a research team. Through the mentoring process, students are introduced to the methodology of their chosen discipline by involving them in research and other scholarly activities. MSROP runs for ten weeks on the Twin Cities campus June 5-August 11, 2017. University of Minnesota sophomores, juniors, and seniors (that are enrolled for at least one additional semester after the summer program) majoring in the Social Sciences, Arts, Humanities, Education, Natural Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, and Engineering are eligible to apply.
