Health Disparities Pre-Med Dinner

Hosted by the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students (MAPS). Everyone is welcome! The event is free, but RSVP is required. Talk about health disparities with students and around 30 physicians from various specialities, and learn about MAPS. MAPS aims to create a welcoming and inviting Pre-Med community and provide minority students with beneficial experiences, opportunities, and resources/information through weekly events, programs, and more. EVERYONE is welcome and you do not have to identify as a minority to attend events and become a member.
College Health Corps VISTA Positions
Are you a graduating student or recent graduate interested in supporting public health, low-income college students, food and nutrition, and/or campus-community partnerships? Apply by May 1 for 2017-2018 VISTA positions with MNCC's College Health Corps sites by creating a profile at my.americorps.gov and submitting it to one or more of the these positions.
Community Health Initiative (CHI) Undergraduate Scholarship
The CHI supports full-time undergraduate students who are pursuing a health related career and who show academic promise and financial need. Students must be currently enrolled at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Campus and must demonstrate maturity, adaptability, and respect for diversity and other cultures. The CHI Undergraduate Scholarship is administered by the Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence (MCAE).
