Advising appointments with your MLK academic advisor are available at various times between 9am and 3:30pm. These appointments are 30 minutes in length, and are required at least once a semester for your first 1-2 years in the program in order to register for classes, and strongly suggested thereafter. Full advising appointments are necessary to release holds, make changes to student records, plan for graduation and address all other questions and concerns that cannot be answered in under 15 minutes.
The Rev. Dr. MLK Jr. Program will be offering all advising services virtually. You may book an appointment with your assigned advisor here (z.umn.edu/claappt) and e-mail us with any questions or concerns and we will respond as soon as possible (firstname.lastname@example.org). Our office space will be closed until further notice.
If you need assistance with probation or suspension, please review MLK Probation & Suspension before making an appointment with an advisor.
Drop-in advising appointments are available at various times throughout the day. You may see any of the advisors listed in the schedule for a drop-in appointment. Drop-in appointments are reserved for quick questions and usually last from 5-15 minutes. To see an advisor during the
