Join us for a virtual conversation with Vice President Mercedes Ramírez Fernández, a circle of panelists reflecting on art as a healing tool for racial healing in observance of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s annual National Day of Racial Healing. Featured artists Geno OkokThomasina PetrusSaymoukda Duangphouxay VongsayTalvin Wilks, and Cindy Garcia will share their stories through conversation facilitated by Makeda Zulu, Executive Director of the Robert J. Jones Urban Research and Outreach-Engagement Center. All students, faculty, and staff in the University of Minnesota system and members of surrounding communities are welcome. This event is free and open to the public.
