BFA

Royal Shakespeare Company

The Royal Shakespeare Company, based in Stratford-upon-Avon, is recognized globally for its innovative and diverse approaches to the Shakespearean legacy and contemporary plays. Their world-class training programs serve more than half a million young people and adults, and support partnerships with academic institutions across the United Kingdom and the world. The RSC’s mission is “to ensure that Shakespeare is for everyone, unlocking the power of his plays and live performance.”

All BFA students will spend the fall semester of their third year abroad in London studying at the Royal Shakespeare Company and the CEA CAPA Global Education Network. Experiences have included intensive work with the Royal Shakespeare Company, Synergy Theater Project, London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA), and with many highly qualified London based professional artists. This opportunity to study abroad gives students the opportunity to work on their craft while also growing as a human through their travels around Europe. The students perform a Shakespeare play on the Royal Shakespeare Company stage at the end of their time.
