Meet the CLA Career Services Peers

Hi! I'm Piper, and I am a senior majoring in Psychology with a minor in Spanish, and I am also the lead peer! My favorite part about working in the CLACS office is helping students feel confident in their experiences and how they can best showcase them! You'll usually find me sipping on two drinks and listening to music at the office, but outside of giving career advice I love animals, being mediocre at all sports, and binge-watching shows with my friends! So excited to meet you! :)

Hey All! My name is PJ and I will be a senior during the 2023 - 2024 academic year. Once I graduate, I will have a degree in Communication and Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies. In my free time, I enjoy bouldering, watching Netflix, spending time with friends, roller blading, and finding new things to create. I am super pumped to be a Peer Coach, especially if that means I get to help people with their resumes and other professional needs. Hi! My name is Anna, and I’m a sophomore majoring in Psychology and Family Social Science with a minor in Management. I’m most looking forward to being able to directly help students by providing support and giving advice throughout their career development! I know it can be an intimidating process, so I’d love to break it down and give students the tools and encouragement they need to feel prepared and empowered. Outside of CLA Career Services, I’m involved in PSA and undergraduate research, and I love to play music (piano/ukulele/clarinet), draw/paint, and hang out with friends! 

Hi there! My name is Annika, but you can call me Anni if you’d like. I’m a Junior here at the U studying Psychology, Political Science, and Spanish. I’m passionate about helping people and am involved in the Undergraduate Student Government amongst other things. In my free time, I love learning languages, listening to music, rock climbing, longboarding, and enjoying nature!

My name is Ellie, and I'm currently completing my final year as an undergraduate student here at the U, majoring in Linguistics and the Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Justice. Other than carrying around an unreasonable number and assortment of items in my backpack (including an entire extension cord, which I recommend!), I can usually be found juggling far too many academic projects at the same time. As someone who dreads updating my resumé, I hope to be a helpful resource to anyone coming to the Career Services office to make your application process a little easier! 

Hi! I’m Sonia, and I am a sophomore pursuing a bachelors of science degree in psychology! I am so excited to have the opportunity to help students as a peer coach and give support along the way! I enjoy helping students with resume building, job searching, and really helping students with anything they may need. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, trying new food, hanging out with my friends, and re watching a cycle of my favorite tv shows on netflix :) I look forward to meeting you!!!

Hi! This is Renee! I am a junior majoring in Psychology and Sociology. I am an international student from China! I love spending time with my cat, cooking, traveling, playing games and playing different sports! I love working in the CLACS office and working with students on application materials, especially cover letters and interview preparation! I love learning different things and now I am trying to learn tennis! 

This is going to be my third year working at CLA career services, I was an office assistant for my first semester and since then I’ve been a peer coach. I’m a psychology major and want to go to grad school and eventually work in research. I like biking, video games, and crafty type stuff like knitting. My favorite part of working in career services is working together with students and of course all of the excellent other staff members I get to work with.

Hi all! I'm Max, a senior majoring in economics with a minor in supply chain management. I'm incredibly excited to start helping out my fellow CLA students with all their career needs as a peer coach this year. Outside of school and work, I am an avid & opinionated NBA fan, enjoy taking care of my many plants, and hang out with my dog Fletcher (aka Fudge).
