Meet the CLA Career Services Peers
Wondering what CLA students work in the Career Services office? Meet the 2025-2026 Peer Coaches.
Hi! My name is Emily, and I'm a junior studying history and Spanish. As a peer coach, I'm excited to help guide students through career exploration and the job application process. I've always felt that these processes can be very stressful and intimidating, so I'm happy to be able to provide others with the same support that I value so much. In my free time, I like to read, listen to music, watch movies, and hang out with friends!
Hi! My name is Anna, and I’m a senior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Family Therapy and Family Violence Prevention. I love being able to directly help students, whether that's giving tips/tricks about career development or providing encouragement! I know it can be an intimidating process, so I’d love to break it down and give students the tools and support they need to feel prepared and empowered. Outside of CLA Career Services, I’m on the student boards for the Philippine Student Association (PSA) and the Counseling Psychology Club, as well as involved in a few different research labs in the counseling psychology department, so feel free to talk to me about research or grad school and how that might fit into your career journey as well! In my free time, I love to play music (piano/ukulele/clarinet), draw/paint, go to community events, and hang out with friends!
Hey!! My name is Fatima Aden and I am a junior majoring in Political Science and Economics. I am interested in pursuing a career in the Public Policy and/or the Law field and hopefully getting a degree in either one (or both!). I enjoy making new meaningful connections with any kinds of people! If you are interested in anything related to policy, law, government, or more-- connect with me! If not, you are always free to swing by the CLA Career Services office to just talk life with me (I am a certified yapper). Outside of this role, I am in the Undergraduate Student Government, Somalis in Business and Technology, and a couple of other things on campus. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, or if you just want to talk!
Hi! I'm Ellie, and I am a senior studying Psychology and HR Development. This is my third year being a peer coach, and I love being able to help students with anything they feel worried about regarding their career. My background is in HR and recruiting, so I really enjoy being able to share that perspective! You can always come to me with any questions about job searching, career exploration, the application process, or interview tips and tricks. Outside of work, you can find me in yoga/cycle classes at the Rec, reading, trying out new hobbies, or spending time with my friends. I love chatting, so feel free to stop by 411 to say hello!
