More on Internship Funding
Please visit the CLA Scholarships website and the undergraduate scholarship search tool to learn more about funding opportunities for CLA students.
Qualifying CLA students are eligible to apply for a $2,000 scholarship during the semester or summer that they are engaged in an unpaid internship for CLA academic credit.
Learn more about the application process and department-specific Internship Scholarships (typically separate application processes) on the CLA Internship Scholarship website.
Maroon & Gold Project (Micro-Internship) Funding
The Mooty Internship Scholarship is intended to support students by alleviating some of the financial pressure of participating in an unpaid micro-internship. Once a student has been selected for an unpaid project, they can apply for the Mooty Internship Scholarship. This is a one-time, non-renewable $500 scholarship. Learn more about the Mooty Internship Scholarship on the Maroon and Gold Projects website.
Qualifying CLA students are eligible to receive a scholarship during the semester or summer that they are participating in a learning abroad program hosted by CLA or approved by the UMN Learning Abroad Center.
Learn more about funding, including department-specific Learning Abroad Scholarships (typically separate application processes) on the CLA Learning Abroad Scholarship website.
CLA's Office of Undergraduate Education offers scholarships to support a student’s research or creative work endeavors. CLA awards scholarships for semester-long research or creative work in conjunction with the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP).
