Tadd Johnson serves as Senior Director of American Indian Tribal Nations Relations at the University of Minnesota. In this role he leads the TRUTH project, which is documenting the history of the University's relationships with the eleven recognized Tribal Nations that share geography with Minnesota. As a part of this history, the Project is tracking the funds the University received from land expropriation as a part of the Morrill Act of 1862.
Co-sponsored by the University's Department of American Indian Studies and Office for Public Engagement, this session is part of a multi-year series exploring decolonization and community-engaged scholarship.
