Information Session: Careers with the U.S. Department of State

Want to travel the world and serve your country? Join Diplomat in Residence Midwest, Susan Falatko, to learn about careers, paid internships, and fellowships with the U.S. Department of State.

It's not just for diplomats!

We are looking for people with a sense of adventure to join our diplomatic corps, but also to serve as IT managers, administrative personnel (HR, budget and finance, logistics, facilities and office managers), Diplomatic Security law enforcement officers, engineers, nurses, doctors, and more. We hire all majors.

This event is for undergraduates, graduates, alumni, and faculty, especially in CLA. Check us out on careers.state.gov.

This event will be hosted in Peik Gym - G55. https://roomsearch.umn.edu/rooms/f68158b7-351e-44e2-a705-9191b7… NOTE: Enter via the doors closest to University Avenue (facing north). You will need your U card to gain access into the building.

Registration in Handshake is requested but not required. Email hirecla@umn.edu if you are having difficulty registering. Space is limited to the first 40 students who attend.
